Best way to monetize your blog with Google AdSense
Read
this before you apply for Google AdSense, it’d take only 10 minutes for you to
read this, but you’ll know the best strategy to use Google AdSense. AdSense is
not meant for quick money, but if you want to earn money for a long term basis,
Google AdSense is as good as mutual Fund investment.
There
are countless websites providing bloggers with information related to Google AdSense,
but here I am going to write about something which no website has ever
mentioned, fasten your seat-belts fellow bloggers, because this ride is going to
give you a logical way to analyze Google AdSense
monetization.
As
I said, I’m going to write some things which no website has ever mentioned, so
not going to pen down the things like “What
is AdSense” “why Google AdSense is
the best Monetization process” bla bla bla.... Let’s focus on the things
which everyone misses while blindly applying for Google AdSense approval.
There
is a myth, if your blog is from Asia (especially from India) you have to wait
at least 6 months then you can apply for Google AdSense, when I started
blogging, I fell for this myth and wasted 3 months (first 3 months to organize
the blog and to write contents of course) but later as I matured in Blogging, I
realized that “You don’t really need to wait for 6 months if your blog is from India
to get Google AdSense approval”
But
since this has been long standing myth, let’s elaborate this so that you
understand the logic, firstly, only if you’re using blogger hosted domain name,
then you’d need to wait for maybe 6 months, but if you buy a custom domain on
the very second day of your blogging, and you have quality contents, then you
can get the Google AdSense approval immediately.
·
Now, let’s suppose you got the AdSense approval,
Congratulations... Now what????
Nothing,
life would go as it was going, you’re not earning anything, you feel more
irritated than before your application was approved. Because if you get AdSense
approval very fast, then there’s a good chance you still don’t get much page
views and hence your earning tab is as bright as the night of no-moon.
You
need quality traffic to earn a hefty sum from Google AdSense, without proper
traffic Google AdSense won’t pay you anything, by the word proper traffic, I
meant traffic from search engines and the more page views from USA, UK, Canada
the more money you’re pocketing.
So,
let’s summarize the things we just read,
You
opened a blog, bought a custom domain very fast, finished posting 35-40 quality
contents and applied for Google AdSense and they approved you, you get
around 5000 page views every day and not making enough money.
Now,
you’d say we can work on the traffic and
improve it, but again, it’s a flawed strategy, You shouldn’t rush when it
comes to making real money, slow and steady wins the race, Google AdSense Ads
are provided by various companies; and your site’s performance is sent to them
every month, so if you happen to get Google AdSense approval fast and you don’t
have much traffic to boast, chances are quality Ad Companies might refrain
themselves from giving you high paying ads soon.
So,
you should slowly but steadily build your blog, write quality contents, make
back-links, create social media pages, let people know about your blog (but don’t tell people to click on the ads on
your site), take some time, if I share my own experience, I applied for
Google AdSense after 4 months with custom domain, I got approval, but it took
me 1 month to earn my first $10 and almost 3 months to get the first pay check.
So don’t rush, even if you see a new blog showing ads, chances are it isn’t
making much money.
Take
it slow, concentrate
on your blog only for the first
7-8 months, and let me assure you Google AdSense is the best way you can earn
money from home. Happy blogging... If you want to discuss about anything you
